Double Coverage

For the Fall 2023 football season, I served as as the Double Coverage Design Editor, producing weekly flipbooks dedicated to football. I absolutely loved this dynamic sports designing, and felt such a full circle moment—Double Coverage is flipbook I began my career at the Texan with! Here are some (or maybe too many, I simply can’t choose) of my favorite spreads from this season!

study abroad blog

While studying abroad in London during the summer, I contributed to the McCombs BBA Study Abroad blog. Read my posts about weekend trips, daily London life, and reflections on living away from home!

data visuals design

Starting in Spring of 2022, I was promoted to the Senior Data Visuals Designer position at the Daily Texan. I enjoy creating timelines, charts, graphs, and more to supplement news stories & features.

The Daily Texan

My first semester of college, I worked as a photographer and general designer for the Daily Texan, the nation's most-awarded college newspaper. In addition to documenting campus life and sports events, I created layouts for Double Coverage, which is the Texan's weekly football magazine, and weekly flipbooks.

the ATX review

I am the Head of Design at the ATX Review, a literary magazine at the University of Texas at Austin. I am responsible for curating layouts from various types of student-produced media and creating guidelines for other designers to follow. Below are the first two issues of the 2022-23 school year: Home & Dreams

magazine covers

Inspired by my love for editorial magazines, I design magazine covers for friends, family, and clients. These covers are hand-drawn, created from photos that I have taken or have submitted to me. These are the perfect gift or memento; everyone is their own cover star.

2021-2022 yearbook

I served as the Editor-in-Chief for the Plano East Yearbook Staff during my senior year of high school. Apart from managing staff needs, teaching advertising and InDesign lessons, and coordinating with publishers, my favorite responsibility is to design yearbook spreads! Below are some of my most favorite spreads from "Together We Rise."

2020-2021 yearbook

As the Creative Director for the Plano East Yearbook Staff from 2020-2021, my role included designing all the spreads for the yearbook. Here are some of my most beloved pages from "One in 3000, 3000 in one."

app designs

Earlier in 2020, I began working on a bullet journal app, with hand-drawn designs coded into an app-like format. Due to COVID-19, the app release date is postponed, but these are some of my favorite drawings from the app.

After taking professional classes in elementary school, photography has never left my side. Both with Canon and Nikon cameras, these are a few staged and candid shots used in yearbooks and for personal use. Check my photography tab for more photos!

journalism & reporting

I discovered journalism in middle school as a yearbook staff member. Now, I have been on both my middle and high school yearbook staffs for a total of seven years, as well as enjoy freelancing in college. I love to connect with people and their stories through my journalism experiences.

I am excited to share my op-ed for Rewire News Group's Campus Dispatch Series, where college students reflect on national issues affecting local campuses. As a proud Texas student, here's my insight on the 2024 Senate Bill-17

in Texas.

During the summer of 2020, I served as the Head of Layout and reporter at 650 West, Newsroom by the Bay's magazine. Attached above is the digital version

of the magazine.
